Chocolate Old Fashioned

A delightfully chocolate twist on the classic


  • 1 ½ oz Callalisa Creek Whiskey
  • 1 tsp. Simple syrup
  • 3 Dashes mole bitters
  • Dark chocolate
  • Luxardo cherries
  • Pink Himalayan salt
  • Large square ice cube


Your glasses will need to be prepared in advance. In a Double boiler melt the chocolate. Once melted rim your glass in the chocolate, followed by the pink Himalayan salt, with a short break in between.

Combine simple syrup, bitters and then whiskey in a rimmed rocks glass. Stir a few time to mix. Add large ice cube and stir 37 times to provide adequate dilution. Garnish with Luxardo cherries.
